Weave no thoughts round me whilst I am away.
They will not bring me back,
And you will find them harder to unpick
Than any tapestry each night,
And harder to begin to weave again
With each successive morning,
Till I return to find myself
Usurped by my own image,
Ill-drawn, incomplete,
And long since laid aside.
