Submissions are invited for the ‘Featured Writer’ section of this website. Authors are requested to observe the following editorial guidelines.

Guidelines for Submissions

Genre
Authors should submit examples of original work in English in two of the following genres:

Format
All submissions should be in hard copy format. They should contain:

• Material in two of the above genres
• A short biographical note on the author, containing a brief list of relevant publications (250 words maximum)
• Full contact details
• A stamped addressed envelope for acknowledgement of receipt
• A stamped addressed envelope for return of unsuccessful submissions (if the author desires any rejected material to be returned)
• A declaration to the effect that the material submitted is the work of the author in question and that copyright resides with the same author.

Please note that submissions by email cannot be considered and that photographs should not form part of initial submissions.

Copyright
Copyright in the works published in the Featured Writer section resides with the author.

Publication
Works selected for the Featured Writer section are published for a three-month period. One poem, a short biography and a photograph are also included in the Featured Writer Index.

Payment
On publication, by arrangement.
